The link between diet and cancer is complex. However, there is evidence eating a healthy balanced diet, with at least five portions of a variety of fruit and vegetables, can help reduce the risk of diseases, including some types of cancer.
Eating healthily and exercising regularly will also help you maintain a healthy weight, which itself can reduce your cancer risk.

Some foods, such as broccoli and blueberries, have been labelled "superfoods" that can reportedly reduce your risk of cancer. However, the evidence for this is inconclusive.
